Welcome September! It's fall and Audubon, Waite and Windom Parks all offer a wide variety of programs for children ages 3-17. Please stop by any of the parks, or visit us online at www.minneapolisparks.org for more information.

Advanced Gymnastics 6-9 yrs. 5:00-6:30PM
TEAM Gymnastics 8-13 yrs. (offered 2 times a week) 6:45-8:15PM

Gymnastics Showcase!
The Edison-Henry High School Gymnastics Team is having a showcase full of dance and gymnastics to raise money to buy warm-up leotards for next year's competition season. Come see lively hip-hop dance routines infused with gymnastics skills and tumbling!
$3 for Adults
$2 for Students
6 yrs. and under FREE
Please support NE and Edison High School by coming to watch our showcase!!

Gymnastics Begins at Audubon Park!

Spring is here and Gymnastics is beginning again at Audubon Park! We offer 6 different classes for most ages:
1. Mom, Dad and Me Tumbling (Ages 2-4yrs *This is a parent/child class)
2. Beginner Tumbling (Ages 3-5yrs)
3. Intermediate Gymnastics (Ages 5-7yrs)
4. Beginner Gymnastics (Ages 6-9yrs)
5. Advanced Gymnastics (Ages 6-9yrs)
6. Team Gymnastics (Ages 8-13yrs)

Audubon Park

Audubon Park (29th & Buchanan) is having "Saturday Sports for Families". Saturdays from April 21st until May 26th 10AM to 11AM come and play a loosely organized game of soccer, t-ball, flag football, kickball, etc. We'll be playing one sport per week with any family members welcome. This is just for fun, fresh air, and a chance to expose kids to a variety of sports with no pressure or expectations. City Wrestling Tournament, Saturday March 10th!

Parents: Weigh-ins are between 7:30 & 8:30! The wrestling starts at 9:30 AM, but your wrestler needs to be on time to weigh-in!
It's going to be a fun & long day! Click on the Event calendar for the address or contact information if you need to talk to the coaches.
Trophies will be awarded to the winners at the banquet. More information on that to come!

The Four Greatest Days of My Life!

When retelling the story of the Northeast Lions wrestling match to my wife last night I said, "These are the four greatest days of my life; the day Janey (my daughter) was born, the day Andrew (my son) was born, the day I married you and the first day Andrew wrestled in a match where he perfectly executed a move called a "switch".

I wasn't at the Thursday practice, but it's my understanding we are supposed to meet at the Audubon Park building at Noon today, Saturday, September 17th and then we are going to Columbia Park for a couple of hours. Pizza is planned after the sliding.
I heard they rent tubes at Columbia Park. It this true?
